Privacy
Taking care of personal data.
Stoit Risk & Safety is run by Miriam Stoit. For questions about personal data, please contact Miriam.
Contact enquiries
The call and email buttons open the relevant app on the device in use. Miriam receives the information shared to answer an enquiry or discuss an assignment. For enquiries, the legal basis is taking steps at the data subject’s request before entering into a contract. For an assignment, data is processed to perform the contract and, where required, meet legal obligations.
Retention and sharing
Information is kept only as long as necessary for an enquiry or the work together, unless a statutory retention period applies. Email and hosting providers may process data to provide their services. Data is not sold. For confidential client files, we agree on a suitable method of exchange.
Website use and language preference
This website uses no analytics or marketing cookies and stores no contact details in the browser. Only the language preference is stored locally. The language is also reflected in the web address. The website remains usable when browser storage is unavailable. Fonts and images are included with the website. A hosting provider may process technical data to deliver and secure the website.
Data subject rights
Data subjects may ask which personal data is processed and request correction or deletion. Where applicable, rights also include objection, restriction and portability. Requests can be addressed to Miriam. In the European Netherlands, the supervisory authority is the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens); in the Caribbean Netherlands, it is the Commission for the Protection of Personal Data BES. The rules that apply depend on the processing and its context.
